Congressional Awards

Scouting is an amazing experience and you have the advantage of character development and leadership that few others receive at a young age. While many people, including college admissions officers, have a sense that Scouts work hard, they do not always understand the Scouting program and all that Scouts accomplish.   So how can we use your Scouting career for maximum benefit on your college application?  One answer is the Congressional Award.  The Congressional Award recognizes every bit of your Scouting career and provides independent, third-party validation of your effort.  This validation can help distinguish your college application.
