Welcome to Radnor Troop 284-G Trailblazers. The Radnor 284 Scouting program has been an important presence on the Main Line for almost a century. Starting our fifth year, we welcome all girls 6th to12th grades to come join this unique scouting program.
That's us on the cover of Scout Life, the national BSA Magazine for Scouts! In the summer of 2021 we did an 8-day Canoe trip of the Adirondacks in New York! We are planning to visit the Adirondacks again this summer for an even more exciting and challenging summer adventure! Currently we have girls in our troop from the following school districts, Radnor, Marple Newtown, Lower Merion, T/E and a few homeschoolers. Chances are you already know someone in our troop!
That's also us laying a Wreath at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery during our 100-mile bike ride from Mt. Vernon to Antietam National Battlefield. Girls grades 6-12 interested in getting outside, facing new challenges, learning a lot about the world, camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, skiing & snowboarding and more adventures can join us. The Trailblazers Troop is dedicated to the ideals of Scouting and strives to 'graduate' young women of high moral character emphasizing the goals of scouting: citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Our program is highlighted by outdoor activities and skills.
